CHEESE PASTA RECIPE
Hello Friends, Cooker Pasta is a pretty simple food to prepare; typically, we make it on an open pan, which takes a long time. When my kids ask me to prepare pasta, I think twice since the first step is boiling and draining the noodles. After that, I’ll prepare the pasta stuffing in a different pan, which will take a long time, so I thought, why can’t we do this in a pressure cooker? So, I searched for pressure cooker pasta on Google.
It was amazing how many people cooked pasta. So, I walked straight to the kitchen to check the time before starting to make pasta. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes, whereas open-pan cooking takes about 20 to 25 minutes. For additional taste, I used Indian spice powders. If you don’t want the Indian flavor, leave it out and just use sauce and oregano. The steps are exactly the same. You don’t have to worry about the amount of water in this pasta. If you add more water, your pasta will get soupy. Kids will enjoy this soupy pasta, which is similar to soupy noodles. For this technique, I always add an extra cup of water.
Ingredients for cooker pasta
- 1 cup pasta
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp pasta sauce
- 1 tsp Pav baji masala powder (or garam masala)
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 3to 4 cups water
- 1 slice cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take a Cooker and heat oil
- Add onion and saute until onion turns brown
- Add carrot and mix well
- Further add pasta sauce, garlic powder, pav bhaji masala powder, chilli powder, salt
- Saute well on low flame until it turns aromatic
- Now add Pasta(uncooked)
- Mix well and add required water
- Close the lid and cook until 3 whistle.
- When pressure is released open the lid and you will see pasta is well cooked
- Now immediately add 1 0r 2 slice cheese and close the lid.
- Cover it and rest for 3mins
- Finally, cheese will melt and gives excellent taste.
- After cheese melts, mix it well
- Now Cooker pasta is ready to serve.

Notes
- You can add extra one cup of water to make the pasta like soupy texture, Kids will enjoy it.
- Here i have used macron pasta , you can use any kind of pasta. Procedure is same.
- You can add more vegetables like sweet corn, capsicum, green peas.Â
- If you don’t want mushy pasta (soupy pasta) you can add 2 cups of water for 1 cup of pasta.Â
- If you dont want to use pasta sauce you can add tomato pureeÂ
